Tamarind Bonsai Progression

Share

I got this Tamarindus Indica from a local garden center on April 11, 2016.  The seller told me that it has been in this pot for more than 5 years and it should flower and bear fruits anytime soon. Aside from the old age, I thought it’s got some good branches and movement that I can work on to make it more like bonsai.  I have always admired Tamarind Bonsai because of their brown scaly bark and small leaves.  The branching habit of this tree is also ideal for easy ramification.
