Never Getting Zero Visits Anymore

Looking back on the humble beginnings of my blogging journey, I see how naive I was as blogger. I was trying to find my own place in the field of online writing.  In the start, I have no clear plan, no direction, just plain writing of what I want, and whatever interests me.  I just wanted to express.  My lack of experience in writing, websites, blogs, Google, themes and WordPress did not hinder me from doing what I want to do.  It empowered me instead.  Empowered yet I reached a point when I missed a lot of days.  Days and weeks without a single post.  I was shaken and demotivated.  Who’s reading?  Who cares?  Do you matter at all?  I found it extremely hard to answer those questions in front of a mirror.  I see myself going nowhere at that point.  Until suddenly, a miracle just happened.  I found light again when I came to search and read some success stories of famous bloggers.  Their stories tell me that they are humans like me.  We have the same composition.  So if they can, why can’t I?  In their stories are seeds of hope.  When you keep planting those seeds within you, you will grow just like them.  And the cool thing about blogging.  Just google it and you will come to see that you are not alone.  That you not helpless.   That you are already close to your goals.

Today I am writing this post to celebrate a thought that every blogger is thankful about.  Having non-zero views.  It just feels so good to see that 1 or more person from another place came to pay some attention.  I honestly do not know if they read the whole blog but the fact that it is viewed suggests that I caught the attention.  The title worked.  Maybe it was catchy enough to steal that attention from a reader.  That is part of the reward.  The big reward is when you get to see somebody’s comment on your post telling the world how your story moved them.  But won’t you jump with joy when your post gets viral?
