Miracle Fruit Tree Growing Vigorously

Share

While spending the Holy Week holidays in the province (Oriental Mindoro), I got a chance to take some pictures of my Miracle Fruit tree that I obtained from a local garden store about two years ago.  Just last night, our family friend has gotten all of its fruits that we gladly offered. “I am extremely excited to prove its miracles to my wife” said he.  And the pictures below show what’s left in the morning.  A vigorous and bushy Miracle Fruit that has grown enormously (without the fruits).

Two years ago I heard of this tree from a friend who works at the local garden store.  His description of the fruit was quite interesting so the next thing I did was to find out how it works.  I had a lot of doubts then that it has the ability to convert sour taste to sweet.  He offered me a piece of this small pea sized red fruit and tested it.  By the way it looks, one would think that it has some spicy taste with its pure red color just like chili.  All the written articles online that I read and my friend were right,  the fruit indeed does miracles.  I can not imagine how this fruit can magically bend my taste buds and make my brain say that the sour green Mango fruit tastes so sweet after all.  I have never seen or tried any food with that effect ever before.  Without any further questioning, I grabbed two seedlings from the garden store and planned to grow them so that I can have my own supply of this extraordinary fruit.  I shared and described the fruit to some of my friends too, telling them the story of how miraculous the fruit was.  They made fun of my story at first but in the end, they inquired about how to get one that they can grow on their own.

The fruit is a good alternative to sugar.  Since it is all natural, one can enjoy a worry free add on to a sour snack.  It is commonly partnered with sour fruits as it alleviate the sour taste and then some magic takes place as it brings it to somewhat sweet taste.  All you’d know then is you’ve eaten a something a bit sweet even though it was really sour.  Kinda tricky, yeah?
