My Foliage Anthuriums: Anthurium Scorpion, Anthurium Rainforest and Anthurium Wave of Love

Share

Off topic. I just want to share my new collection of anthuriums that are not often appreciated because of the flower but of the foliage.  People call it as foliage anthurium and what’s special about these plants are the leaves.  Yes, the leaves tend to extend longer and bigger as they grow older and even cross pollinate with other anthuriums to form a variegation in the leaf color and characteristics.  Many plant lovers are starting to love these anths as they are easy to grow, low maintenance and still give you the simplicity and beauty of its kind. Allow me to show you my new babies.

The Anthurium Scorpions.

The Anthurium Rainforest.

Anthurium Wave of Love

I had to clean them when they arrived. and got them ready for planting.

The sizes.

Had to use coco husks cut in chunks as soil/growing media.

Some roots are fine and some are not. Hmmm, seller issues. But most are fine.
