Let it go… Let it sprout!

Thought I’m not gonna have any more use for this excess bell pepper after I made a Cheese pimiento spread so I set it aside in about a week and it was dried.  Then, growing it into a plant was my next idea.

Two weeks after being thrown to the pot and these bell pepper seedlings are already sprouting their way up.  First leaves have already shown up inviting more leaves to come out.

You’d notice these white hairy thing among the ones that have just started.  In the morning, you’d see that water is trapped on them. This goes to show that the white hairy tentacles is there to catch water.

New leaves also start to spread as these white young roots find its way under the ground.

Another  week has passed and its height has increased tremendously.  Looks like they are ready for re-potting.

Why not make it a little environment friendly? I got some 1.5 Liter coke bottles and from them made these planters.

Finally got them re-potted.  Will check them out in two weeks and what happens.
