I personally feel that I lost a friend and mentor. Although we have not been able to meet each other physically, we have been in constant communication via his 24K subs Youtube channel called Bonsai Iligan. This great artist showcases his masterpieces through this online media. His videos teaches many lessons about bonsai trees in the Philippines. Those talks and inspiring bonsai videos magnetized me to this hobby. His works has indeed fueled many aspiring bonsai artists in almost all parts of the world just like me to learn and have fun with this hobby. You will see in videos how enthusiastic he is when discussing things about a particular tree. The energy for the hobby never faded and you wouldn’t even notice that the man was already fighting for cancer.

I will sure miss this amazing guy. He may be gone but his videos are still there. Those videos are his living legacy that will make him immortal to the minds of many bonsai artist around the world.

Thank you Sir Juvin! May you rest in peace!
