Among the numerous bonsai materials we collected is this beautiful raft Streblus Asper.
Got all defoliated, I decided to partner it to another the same raft tree of the same kind but a little bigger.  It showed great potential for a forest style bonsai.

The entire set up is quite long and wide so I have to create a pot just for it. This cement pot I created is slightly like a slab.  I made sure that it is strong enough by increasing the amount of cement and did not really care about the design. Anyway, my main concern is to give it a lot of soil in order to increase its chance of living. I’d say that the weight it is around 20-30 kg. Quite heavy.

Off we go. Here’s a picture before adding the soil.

Updates coming soon.
